Getting married? Congratulations! If you are considering celebrating your wedding in Israel, you have so many fabulous and unique wedding venues to choose from.

During the warmer months, outdoor venues are extremely popular. Neot Kedumim has a special wedding trail and plenty of space for dining and dancing under the stars. Rosh Hanikra is also a fantastic option, with the mesmerizing sights and sounds of the water lapping up onto the stone grottoes. For something totally different, you can get married in a fully furnished Moroccan tent in the Judean desert overlooking the sea.  Or, you can get married in Jerusalem’s Old City overlooking the ancient walls. Kibbutz Ramat Rachel has a terrific hall that combines the comfort of indoors with the natural feeling of outdoors. The caves of Bet Guvrin offer a unique, romantic setting for a wedding, but we recommend using an event planner since there are many extra logistics to consider when getting married in a national park.  If your tastes run toward sparkly, jeweled, and floral a la Michal Negrin, Gilmor Productions can arrange the wedding of your dreams. Regardless of what type of venue you choose, consider hiring a professional decorator to help you design a one-of-a-kind event.

Why not light up the sky with red heart-shaped lighting balloons and a fireworks display? And you will definitely need a musician.  If you are looking for a different sound, how about a Dixieland Jazz band or some Irish music?  Of course you’ll want a photographer and videographer to capture your most special moments on tape for posterity. If your guests can't make it from overseas, why not arrange a live internet broadcast so that they can share the simcha with you from wherever they may be?

If you are looking for a beautiful, unique ketubah, consider an intricate paper cut design or one that resembles a work of art.  You are probably also looking for a creative florist to decorate your chuppah and design your bridal bouquet and table arrangements.

And don't forget the smaller details--sometimes, little party decor touches can make a big difference. For unusual and delicious place cards, you can order chocolate roses or "sweet flowers". Don’t forget to order Birkonim or holiday related printed favors, such as Megillat Esther booklets, Chanukah candle lighting cards, Tu B’Shvat Seder booklets, or Bedikat Chametz cards.

If you are looking for accommodations for your guests, take a look at our “places to stay” section for family-oriented guest house and hotel suggestions, or use one of our highly recommended tour operators to give you a helping hand with booking your hotel accommodations.  And don’t forget to order cookie platters (you can order wedding cookies!) or gift baskets for your guests’ rooms so that they have something to munch on at 3 a.m. when the jetlag hits.

Have fun surfing through CelebrateIsrael.com.  If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you.  If you are feeling a little overwhelmed and you are thinking about hiring an event planner to help you with the million and one details, take a look at our event planning services section.  Celebrate Israel also provides in-house event consulting services on an hourly basis that fits every budget, so make sure to ask us for a quote as well.  Mazel Tov!
